Direct Energy Business & TPI Efficiency Donate $10,000 to University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital

On Tuesday, April 24th, Direct Energy Business and TPI Efficiency presented a check for $10,000 to University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital (UH Rainbow) that will fund important programs and services not funded by insurance. Direct Energy Business also donated more than 100 coloring books and crayons for patients.

This donation was a part of Direct Energy Business’s matching program for energy brokers that donate to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.  For this donation, TPI Efficiency donated $5,000 to UH Rainbow, their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, and Direct Energy Business matched it.

The check and coloring book donation were presented to the hospital at a celebratory event that included remarks from John Belgiovine, sales director for Direct Energy Business, on the Direct Energy Business’s commitment to the hospital and the Cleveland community. Samantha Davison, Development Specialist at UH Rainbow, also spoke, stressing the impact donations like this have on the hospital. They were also joined by members of the Family and Child Life Services team.

Direct Energy Business and its residential brand, Direct Energy, has a long-standing relationship with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and has contributed more than $3 million to network hospitals over the past 3 years. Direct Energy is a member of the Miracle Millions Club that honors companies that donate more than $1 million in a single year to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Direct Energy employees also volunteer at hospitals across the United states.
